|Ride for the River was inaugurated in 2012 to rally continued support for local communities and businesses along the path of local flooding caused by Tropical Storm Irene. The devastation of Tropical Storm Irene of August 2011 is still evident in the watershed communities and ecosystems along the River. The proceeds from last year’s ride directly funded the Ausable River Association’s work with local municipalities, businesses, and residents to build community and ecological resilience in the face of future flood events. This year’s proceeds will support this ongoing effort.
Your Ride for the River registration fee and/or any additional donation you offer is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
We would love to see many of our members and friends participate in this event and happy to meet new folks who want to enjoy all this valley has to offer by bike!
