 Ride
for the River is a fundraising event to benefit
the Ausable River Association (AsRA). We are a
community-supported organization that works
cooperatively with landowners, municipalities, and
government agencies to protect the wild, scenic,
and recreational resources of the Ausable
Watershed.
AsRA has been stewarding the river and its watershed since 1998.
Protecting the river from current threats and
restoring its natural balance is an ongoing
challenge and The Association depends upon the
generosity of its members and the strength of its
volunteers to accomplish its river conservation
projects. Other funding comes from grants with
additional contributions coming from watershed
